Lisa Francesca is the author of The Wedding Officiant's Guide: How to Write and Conduct a Perfect Ceremony (Chronicle Books).  Now in its 2nd edition, this book is also available on Amazon in paperback, audiobook, or ebook.  With more than 20,000 copies sold, readers and reviewers have called this the complete guide for any new or one-time wedding officiant.

Lisa is currently completing a biography of Julie P. Smith, a popular and commercially successful 19th century novelist whose ten books delighted millions of women. Julie was Lisa's great-great-great grandmother, and the biography has been based on over a thousand family letters, as well as an analysis of the novels.  Read more about it here.

Lisa is also  the author of Helen and the Masters: A Portrait of a California Mystic, the biography of a ranch wife and mother in California's turn-of-the-century Sacramento Delta who channeled ethereal writings and became a mystic in her forties. (Available on Amazon, and at some public libraries and archives.) Read more about it here.

Her writing has appeared in the Catamaran Literary Reader,  AboutPlace Journal, and Reed Magazine.  She holds an MFA in Creative Writing from San Jose State University and a BA in English from U.C. Berkeley.
